Privacy Policy

Effective: 1 January 2025 Version 1.0

This Privacy Policy explains how TimeBank ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the TimeBank iOS application and related services (together, the "Service"). We aim to collect as little as possible and to be transparent about everything we do collect.

Summary

Information We Process

Information stored on your device

Habit logs, fasting timers, focus-session history, time-bank tier progress, in-app preferences, and notes are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this information unless you submit it through a feature that requires server processing (such as the AI Coach).

Information sent through the AI Coach

When you request an AI-generated report, the following may be transmitted from your device to our endpoint and on to NVIDIA's NIM API:

We do not log the contents of your prompts or the AI-generated responses on our servers. NVIDIA processes the request under its own privacy policy.

Subscriptions and purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive only the receipt-validation result needed to activate or restore entitlements; we do not receive your full payment details. Apple's handling of your payment information is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Diagnostics

If enabled by your device settings, Apple may share aggregated and anonymized crash and performance diagnostics with us through App Store Connect. This information is not linked to your identity.

How We Use Information

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell or rent personal information.

How We Share Information

We share information only with:

Data Retention

Activity data on your device is retained until you delete it or uninstall the application. Edge-server logs (such as IP addresses and request metadata) are retained by our infrastructure providers for a limited period for security and operational reasons, typically no longer than 30 days, then discarded.

Security

All data transmitted between the application and our servers is protected with industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Communication between our servers and NVIDIA is similarly encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately to the risk.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information; to object to processing; and to data portability. Because most of your data is stored on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly within the application by editing or deleting entries, or by uninstalling the application. International Transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you reside, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact tbfasting@outlook.com and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are material, we will provide notice within the Service or by other reasonable means. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
