Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TimeBank mobile application and related services (together, the "Service") provided by TimeBank ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use the Service. If you are a minor, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf. Use of the Service in jurisdictions where it is not lawful is prohibited.

The Service

TimeBank is a personal-productivity application that helps you track habits, fasting windows, focus sessions, and a tiered "time bank" summary of how you spend your hours. It also includes an AI Coach feature that generates written reports based on the activity data you choose to submit.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. We may add, remove, or change features at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service in whole or in part with or without notice.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of TimeBank are offered on a subscription basis through Apple's App Store. All purchases, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms. We are not able to issue refunds directly. To manage or cancel a subscription, use the Subscriptions section of your Apple ID account.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and interval shown at purchase unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

AI Coach — Important Notice

The AI Coach generates text using third-party large-language-model services. Its responses are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. The AI Coach is provided for reflection and general guidance only.

• The AI Coach is not medical, psychological, nutritional, financial, or legal advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
• Do not use the AI Coach in connection with any decision involving your health, safety, or finances without independent verification.
• You are responsible for any content you submit to the AI Coach. Do not submit information that is confidential, proprietary, or sensitive (including information belonging to other people).

Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
• interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service, except where applicable law expressly permits;
• access the Service through any automated means, scrape it, or use it to train competing models, except with our prior written consent;
• use the AI Coach to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes intellectual-property rights.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the activity data, notes, and other content you create in the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including transmitting prompts you submit to third-party AI providers to generate responses.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the "TimeBank" name and marks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Apple (App Store and in-app purchases) and NVIDIA Corporation (NIM API for large-language-model inference used by the AI Coach). Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall we, our affiliates, or our licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) US$50.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TimeBank and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will provide notice within the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
